Are you ready to take your Redemption play to a competitive level?  Want to build your own competitive deck but don't have a lot of money to spend on a bunch of singles or booster packs?  Need help with deck building concepts?  If so, then YTG's Contender Decks are for you! 

Contender Decks are designed to get you right into competitive and tournament play without the worry of building your own deck from scratch, or investing a lot of money to do so.  Each deck is in the Limited format of Type 1 play and consists of 50 cards in the main deck, has a 10 card Reserve, is legal for tournament play and is designed to incorporate most or all abilities, modifiers and several card types for advanced game play.  They also include a variety of card rarity and, at times, promo cards.  

Each deck comes with an Ultra Pro Deck Box, 65 Ultra Pro Eclipse premium colored sleeves, and two Chessex 12mm 6-sided dice (over $17 in total value)! And, you'll also save up to 15% on each Contender Deck’s card value!

Each deck falls into one of two build types, each having their own unique strengths:  Theme and Brigade.  Theme decks have a paired offense and defense that recounts a Biblical story (such as Exodus Heroes and Exodus Egyptians) with strengths, strategies and abilities unique and specific to the theme.  Brigade decks combine some of the strongest characters and abilities of one brigade, and allows for the player to situationally choose which character(s) to use for each play, making adaptability this deck build’s main strength.

BEFORE YOU PURCHASE REDEMPTION CARDS, BE ADVISED: There are two card pools of cards that may be used for regular, constructed play in tournaments: “Limited” and “Unlimited”:

• Limited - only those cards printed in the new format, without the scroll type Scripture box, are legal (cards on the Ban List are not legal). Cards from certain sets/releases printed in the new format will be rotated out of Limited to the Unlimited format starting in August 2027.
• Unlimited - all Redemption cards are legal (cards on the Ban List are not legal).
